  • Chagrin Valley Young Professionals Group

Are you a young leader -- or hope to become one?    Our Chagrin Valley Young Professionals Group (YPG) might be for you.

Why join?   By becoming a member, you can build your business network by meeting other young professionals in the Chagrin Valley through participating in social, community and professional development programs.  YPG will give young leaders, such as yourself, a chance to exchange ideas, grow professionally and share common interests with others like you.

The group meets the second Wednesday of the month at Panera Bread on E. Washington from 9-10 am.  It's an informal gathering of young professionals for networking and education.  Stop by to learn what's the next event.

Find us on Facebook - search for Chagrin Valley YPG, and get updates on events around town for young professionals.

If you are a young professional and are interested in becoming part of this exciting new group of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce, call 440.247.6607 or email info@cvcc.org.

  • Darci Spilman - Executive Director

    2011 Darci Spilman.jpg

Darci Spilman is the Executive Director for the Chagrin Valley Chamber.  Darci joined the Chamber Team in 2007 and became very active in the growth of the organization you see today.

Prior to moving to Chagrin Falls Darci was on the BOD for Early Childcare Developement in Shaker Heights and worked with the Cleveland Orchestra Junior Committee coordinating fundraising and childrens programs.  Darci was a teacher at the Cleveland Museum of Art and managed an Artist Studio Loft in the wharehouse district of Cleveland.

Hobbies:  I enjoys all the seasons of nature where I love to take pictures while hiking.  I grow a vegetable garden in the warmer months so if you need tomatoes in August, I've got you covered.  During the winter months I work on creative projects for the home and travel to play golf any chance I get.

Favorite Sports:  Life sports such as tennis, golf, and skiing are fun on weekends. I love watching professional baseball and college football.  But most of all I love watching my son Jack compete at Miami University running the 800M and 4 x 400M.  Go Redhawks!

Favorite Music:  Anything my son Jack plays on the piano or acustic guitar.  'I could listen to him all day!'

Darci ives in South Russell with her family.  Raised two boys, Lee and Jack, who both attended Chagrin Falls Schools then moved on to Miami University in Oxford after graduation.  At home now with husband Hank, and Maggie (beagle) and Wilson (australian sheperd)

Favorite Book:  Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen
