DESCRIPTION:The Friends of The Gates Mills Branch Library features an artist in the Gates Mills Branch Library every two months.  Betty Jean Skufca will be featured starting January 3rd and the show will run for approximately six weeks during library hours. Artwork can be viewed during library hours.  Betty Skufca’s work has been on exhibit both locally and nationally.  Full of animal imagery\, exquisite portraits\, spiritual themes and children's fairy tales\, her vibrant oil paintings are rich in fantasy combining realism\, surrealism and Middle Eastern influences.  A free artist reception will be held on Sunday\, January 6th from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.   Light refreshments will be offered.  Come meet the artist and discuss her work.
