DESCRIPTION:The Gates Mills Branch Library’s 2012 Art Series continues with the photographs of Laurie Jacobs. “Laurie’s photographs have been incorporated into textile constructions\, displayed as original images and used as the components for highly manipulated works of art. Her photography has relied upon the human figure as well as natural features of the animal and botanic worlds. All of her images have a consistent organic theme with a close focus.” The art show will run from May 1st through June 17th. A special artist reception will be held on Friday May 4th from 5:00-7:00 PM. Light refreshments will be offered. Come meet the artist and discuss her work.
