DESCRIPTION:The Friends of The Gates Mills Branch Library will be featuring artists in the Gates Mills Branch Library meeting room every two months.  Ron Johnston\, Betsi Morris\, Brant Gephart and Eileen Dorsey will be featured starting July 1st and their show will run for approximately six weeks during library hours.  A special artist reception to be held on July 6th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  Light refreshments will be offered.  Come meet the artists and discuss their work.  For more information contact the branch library (440-423-4808).\n\nOur group of Plein air artists have been painting out of doors at the Chagrin Valley\nNursery and Gates Mills in the summers of 2011 and 2012. We reflect the painterly\nstyles of illustration\, impressionism\, and the abstract. The divergent styles on the\nsame subject will offer a comparative for the casual observer. The mediums are\nwatercolor\, oil\, and acrylic on canvas and paper. The artists painting in this group\nare Barbara Benedict\, Eileen Dorsey\, Brant Gebhart\, Melisa Harris\, Ron\nJohnston and Betsi Morris.
