DESCRIPTION:Federated Church extends an open invitation to all to attend a free dinner and faith program Wednesday\, Nov. 12 at 76 Bell St\, Chagrin Falls. A Thanksgiving meal of turkey with all the traditional sides will be offered at 6 pm\, with a program of ?And Federated?s Christmas Eve Offering Goes to? begins at 7 pm. Since 1961 Federated Church has donated 100% of its Christmas Eve offerings collected at its four services to an organization or cause whose program or goal would be significantly impacted by this generous gift. Throughout the years\, the offering has gone to local\, national\, and global organizations with varied missions\, and has touched the lives of thousands. Our panel will include three past recipients: Andres Perez-Charneco\, Director of Programs for MedWish International (2007 recipient)\; Sherri Brandon\, Executive Director of Transitional Housing\, Inc. (2012 recipient)\; and Monica Ralston\, Development Associate\, Rainey Institute (2013 recipient). While the Wondrous Wednesdays? meal is free\, we encourage you this month to consider bringing one or more of the following items to benefit our past Christmas Eve Offering recipients: first aid supplies (MedWish)\; full-size personal hygiene items (Transitional Housing)\; and arts or craft supplies (Rainey Institute). Walk-ins are always welcome but RSVP if you can to the church at 440.247.6490 to help us prepare the appropriate amount of food. Childcare available upon request. Vegan option available on request. All are welcome!
