Red Carpet welcome\,paparazzi taking your picture\, amazing heavy appetizers from Mazzulo's\, beer\, wine\, served up by Bill the Bartender an exclusive drink created by  Floh Vodka\, wine from Urban Vintner\, amazing sweet treats from Sweet Designs and Dough Street Cookie Dough\, awards ceremony and guest speaker. \n\nThursday\, March 12\n\n$75.00 includes food\, drinks\, awards\, speaker and fun!\n\nChagrin Cinemas\n\nRegistration is required.\n\n \n We are excited to announce that this year's speaker will be author Rick Porrello.  Rick is an author\, drummer\, and former police chief. Rick has a knack for writing books that attract interest from filmmakers. Hollywood snapped up To Kill the Irishman- The War that Crippled the Mafia before it was even published\, and turned it into the movie Kill the Irishman. A motion picture based on Superthief-A Master Burglar\, the Mafia\, and the Biggest Bank Burglary in U.S. History is in development. Both books have also generated documentaries. His other books include The Rise and Fall of the Cleveland Mafia\,  Corn Sugar and Blood and his latest book Bombs\, Bullets and Bribes-The True Story of Notorious Jewish Gangster Alex Shondor Birns.   \n\nRick's also toured internationally with Sammy Davis\, Jr. as his drummer. After his music career\, Rick followed it with a 33-year career as a police officer in Greater Cleveland\, with the last ten of those years as chief of police.\n\nAs an organized crime historian\, Rick Porrello's perspective is an intriguing one. He began writing his first book during family research into the murders of his grandfather and three uncles\, all of whom\, he learned\, were mob leaders killed in Prohibition-era violence.
