Event Description:
The Chamber’s YPG is once again spearheading a school supply drive for Chagrin Falls Park Community Center (which is a non-profit program of Family & Community Services Inc. of Northeastern Ohio and a member of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce). The Center provides after school and summer programs for elementary, middle and high school students from primarily minority families in the low to moderate income range. Each year, Chagrin Falls Park provides school supplies for students in need in Cuyahoga and Geauga counties.  Last year the YPG (with the help of Chamber members and the community at large) donated over 275 items to children in need.

Supplies needed are:  bookbags (can be gently used), notebooks, paper, pencils, pens or markers.  Lists from area schools can be found at many retail locations that can give you some other suggestions. Cash donations are always welcome.  Deadline to collect is:  Monday, July 31

The YPG will collect supplies at their next breakfast on Wednesday, July 12 at 9-10 am at Tame Rabbit, 516 E Washington St., Ste. K.  You can also drop off supplies at Township Hall, 83 N. Main Street.  We encourage you to ask your neighbors, friends and/or business associates to join in this drive.
