Estate and Probate Attorney
The candidate will consult with and advise fiduciaries in probate and trust administration, work with clients in connection with contested trust and tax matters, review estate and gift tax returns (including complex reporting and valuation issues). The candidate must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Ohio State Bar, have 3-5 years of trusts and estates experience as well as experience working with ultra-high-net-worth individuals in the design and drafting of their estate plans including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, premarital agreements, and other estate planning documents. Individual should be experienced with family limited partnerships and limited liability companies, shareholder agreements, installment sales, and other related transactions. The right candidate for this role will be a team player with strong writing skills and attention to detail and have a commitment to client service and ethics. Experience in preparing Form 1041s, Form 706, Form 709 a plus.
