Join us at the Chagrin Falls Branch Library as Cleveland Orchestra's Dr. Rose Breckinridge previews The Cleveland Orchestra's Opera. Learn about The Cleveland Orchestra's May 27 & 30 performances of Richard Strauss's rarely-staged one-act opera Daphne and why this opera was so important to Strauss at the end of his operatic career. Music director Franz Welser-Möst and stage director Yuval Sharon team up again to transform the opera?s many elements into a single piece of art.
