One Sunday a month during our winter season the Chagrin Falls Branch Library presents two hours of various musical performances. This month we will have music played on the Hammered Dulcimer. A hammered dulcimer is a trapezoidal-shaped instrument with many steel strings that are struck with wooden "hammers" that you hold loosely between your thumb and index finger. This instrument was extensively used during the Middle Ages in England, France, Italy, Germany, Holland and Spain.
