A collaboration between internationally recognized Cleveland artists Seth Chwast and Herbert Ascherman, Perspectives was conceived of as way to bring awareness to the abilities of those with Autism and other developmental disabilities. Society tends to see only disability when meeting someone with developmental differences, but the show conveys instead that ABILITY needs to be the focus. Valley Art Center’s gallery will display approximately 70-80 works from both Chwast and Ascherman from April 1 until May 4, 2016. The opening reception is Friday, April 1, from 6-8 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
