Annual Awards Evening 2017
You are invited to join us at this year’s Annual Business Awards event (also known as the Annual Business Meeting). It’s an evening full of food, beer, wine, making connections and celebrating small business “Oscar Style”! This one is going to be the talk of the town, and you are not going to want to miss it.
Chamber Business of the Year, Presidential Merit and Chamber Outstanding Member will be awarded and presented a specially designed award by The Glass Asylum. We will also celebrate our student business leaders by presenting the High School scholarship winners this evening.
Guest speaker is Paul Landis, Secret Service Agent to President John F. Kennedy. Paul is one of the only two surviving Secret Service Agents who personally witnessed the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. He was in the follow-up vehicle behind the President when he was shot, and was also in trauma room #1 at Parkland Memorial Hospital. Paul heard and saw almost everything but was never interviewed by the Warren Commission during its investigation of the President's death. After over 50 years of relative silence and very few interviews, he is now telling his story.
Tickets are $35 VIP Chamber member & Chamber Guest ONLY and $50 for a Resident VIP ticket. VIP ticket includes: delicious food stations, beer, wine, champagne fountain and chocolate fountain. We ask that you kindly tip the bartenders. Thank you.
