Artist Talk with Mandy Peltier
Please join us for an afternoon of Art. Sunday, February 23, 3pm Learn about Mandy Peltier’s creative journey, process, and inspirations in this educational artist talk. Mandy recently gave this talk at the Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery! Come hear this talk AND view the Fairmount Faculty Art Show which is on display through end of February. About Mandy: Mandy Peltier is an artist and instructor who predominantly works in the fine art medium of colored pencil, and her award winning drawings are known for appearing realistic in nature. Mandy’s artwork has been displayed in several gallery and museum exhibitions, in private collections, and her artwork and tutorials have also been published in various books and magazines. Mandy has achieved her signature status through American Women Artists, she is a part of Ann Kullberg’s SOAR network of colored pencil instructors who travel the U.S. teaching colored pencil workshops, and she is also an art instructor at a few different art centers around Northeast Ohio. In addition, Mandy currently serves as the Membership Director for the Colored Pencil Society of America.
