More Than a Farm and Friends

This community building capital campaign launch event will take place on Saturday, October 9 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field. Bring the whole family for music, including open-mike and community jam sessions, games for kids of all ages, a food truck or two, and seasonal craft activities. There will be informational tables from collaborating local organizations such as The Food Shed, Rust Belt Riders, Lake Erie Institute, Chagrin Arts, and more. The campaign goal is to fund a building at Kelly's Working Well Farm to house a variety of programs including the Chagrin Valley Learning Collective, Kelly's Working Well Farm summer camp, a permaculture farming internship program, NEO Food Shed online farmer's market, Lake Erie Institute workshops and retreats, Reeds and Roots Skillshare events, etc. The members of More Than a Farm envision a place where Earth friendly educational and and other initiatives work together to create a vibrant center for living and learning in harmony with nature and each other, preparing us to face a challenging future with generosity and grace.
