What It Takes to Write a Book
Have a book idea that just won't go away? This three-week class at the Chagrin Falls Branch Library will get you started, whether you want to write a nonfiction book, novel or memoir. This class will meet on three Wednesday evenings: March 21, March 28, and April 4. From expanding your idea, to organizing chapters, to finding a publisher, author Deanna Adams will answer your questions and get you ready to write that book! Tips will include how to schedule your time to work on your book, deciding who your audience is, and building your book from proposal to finished manuscript. The only requirement -- you must have a concrete book idea. Bring a two-page sample of the idea or another sample of your writing to the first class. Deanna Adams is a freelance writer, award-winning essayist, author of three books, and has just completed her first novel. She is also the coordinator of the Western Reserve Writers Conference and an instructor at Lakeland Community College. Registration is requested for this free class series (440-247-3556)
