Opinions LTD is a privately owned multi-state market research firm with 20+ locations with clients around the world. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. Duties include Prepare Financial Statements, Reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts, entering General Ledger transactions, Funding Locations, Payroll Support/Alternate, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Support and primary support of Accounting Manager. The responsibilities include preparation of financial documents and establishing and carrying out appropriate procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the quantitative information on our financial position.
Job description
Responsibilities- Handle all aspects of the General Ledger and prepare monthly closings
- Provide support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Cross train to provide backup for Paylocity Payroll processing
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely bank payments
- Funding locations per established procedures and reconciling related accounts
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in preparation for monthly closings
- Comply with, establish and improve financial policies and procedures while providing support to Accounting Manager
- 3-5 years of work experience as an Accountant
- Excellent knowledge of accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite and Peachtree
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting
Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
