Skilled Laborer - Premium Hardscape Construction

Carmel Landscapes is Northeast Ohio’s premier eco-friendly, sustainability-first landscape design and construction company. We are seeking an experienced Skilled Laborer to join our team building luxury hardscape projects in the Chagrin Valley area.

About the role:

Join our certified team working on premium landscape and hardscape installations for high-end clients including custom patios, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls and fire/water features. We offer year-round employment with benefits and PTO for full-time employees, and provide professional development opportunities.

Types of projects:

• Custom, high-end hardscapes

• Stone patios and outdoor living spaces

• Outdoor kitchens

• Pergolas

• Natural stone walls

• Outdoor fireplaces

• Stone fire/water features

• Custom masonry and stonework

• Outdoor lighting

Required experience:
4+ years experience in hands-on hardscape construction experience.

• Masonry skills (natural stone, pavers, block)

• Wood construction and carpentry skills

• Expert equipment operation (excavators, compactors, etc.)

• Familiarity with job layouts, the Pythagorean theorem, and radius cutting.

• Knowledge of how to operate levels, laser levels, altimeters and shoot grade

• Advanced skills in construction tasks

• Familiarity with standard building codes

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift and/or move 50+ pounds

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Work well on a team

• Experience with LV electrical wiring a plus but not mandatory

Pay and Benefits for full-time employees:
